Our client is an internationally acclaimed agribusiness, working closely with the Australia Diary industry, and specialise in providing quality Australian and New Zealand dairy products and food ingredients to food industry partners across the globe. In this role, you will be joining a tight knit Documentation team, to provide critical logistical support to the Commercial department in coordinating the shipping of products from suppliers to customers throughout the world.
You will liaise with shipping and logistic partners to ensure a smooth, timely delivery process is managed accordingly, acting as a congruent between key stakeholders to ensure you have an overview of the entire supply chain process. This includes working with any regulatory bodies and relevant authorities when organising the exporting of product from Australia and any relevant import regulations at various customer ports.
Other duties include:
- Accurate documentation preparation and submission
- Maintaining of shipping regulations and requirements
- Dealing with both sea and air freight providers, communicating relevant expectations to freight forwarders.
- Reviewing relevant document packages for any shipping processes
- Work with the wider commercial team
This is a great role for a candidate with an agribusiness background, approximately 1-3 years’ experience in a logistics/documentation environment, and an exciting chance to join a very well-respected agribusiness. You will be joining a close knit, supportive team which will help develop your skills, but you will bring with you a passion and exposure to an agribusiness environment. Candidates with experience in industries such as grain, fertiliser, seed and especially dairy are encouraged to apply.
