Canbrax Wholesale Screens is a manufacturer and wholesaler of security screens on the Sunshine Coast. We pride ourselves on our exceptional customer service and quality products. The company has seen rapid growth over the last 5 years with this trend expected to continue with increased speed do to our innovation and focus on quality.  We have recently moved to a brand new, purpose built, fully Air Conditioned (office & shop) facility.

 

We are currently seeking an experienced, dynamic and driven individual to fill an Operations Manager role. There is an attractive base salary on offer along with a very generous incentive package for the right individual who will bring their expertise and drive to maintain our high standards while helping to continue the growth of the company. Reporting to the Managing Director and supervising experienced manufacturers the Operations Manager is accountable for every facet of the business operations, including but not limited to:

• Coordinating the day to day operations of the business

• Applying their leadership skills to ensure all production and delivery targets are met

• Responsible for the quality of service and products delivered to our clients

• Ensure compliance of OH&S systems

• Foster an inclusive and dynamic workplace culture

• First point of contact for clients

• Assist with developing and improving production methods

• Manage, motivate and train staff to achieve production schedules

• Oversee equipment maintenance and repairs

• Ensure Quality Control procedures are adhered to

• Provide leadership and guidance to upwards of 20 employees

• Processing and preparing orders received through BUZ to be sent to the manufacture floor

• Invoicing

• Quoting jobs

• Ordering material and products from suppliers

• Tracking delivery documents & PO's

 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following qualifications:

• Experience in Security Screens, Glazing, or Aluminium Fabrication

• Minimum 5 years experience in a leadership role

• Natural leader who started on the tools and been promoted to leadership roles early in your career.

• Excellent planning and prioritizing skills.

• Ability to manage and motivate staff to meet production schedules

• Exceptional skills in MS Excel and ability to learn new software systems quickly

• Good typing skills

• Ability to organise day to day activities while meeting long term targets

• Good troubleshooting skills

• Strong technical and practical skills

• Knowledge of BUZ ordering software would be a benefit but not necessary

• Outstanding customer service skills

• WH&S General Safety Induction (Construction Industry), White or Blue Card
