Purpose of the role

In our Processing division we are hard-working team players and problem solvers who are passionate about improving efficiencies and delivering the highest quality product to our customers. Our Team Leaders play a vital role in coaching and leading our production team whilst coordinating and executing various department functions.
Hours of work
This hands-on role offers a Monday- Saturday shift pattern. We are looking for people who are flexible to cover various shifts and weekend work as and when the need arises in order to support the team.
Accountabilities
- Coach and develop the production team to ensure they have the capability to meet the performance goals
- Report on operations and general work planning
- Establish, communicate and monitor safety standards and lead corrective action in areas of high risk
- Execute the plant’s plan with ongoing measurement of performance, achievement of scheduled deadlines and allocating resources appropriately
Skills required
- Experience in a high volume manufacturing industry in a Team Leader position. Experience in food manufacturing and/or FMCG industry will be highly regarded
- Proven communication and leadership skills to lead a team
- Drive the continual improvement of both processes and people
- A desire to build team capability through training and transfer of knowledge
- Computer literate and comfortable using the MS suite
- Comfortable working in a highly quarantined area, requiring to comply with a strict uniform
