An exciting opportunity has become available for a experienced and reliable Trade Store Manager to join our USG Boral team based in Banyo.
Reporting to the Regional Trade Store Manager, some of your responsibilities will include:
- Maintain relationships between USG Boral and its customers by exemplifying unwavering commitment to customer service.
- Complete stock takes according to stock take schedule.
- Leadership, training and management of service centre personnel.
- Ensure routine maintenance of plant and equipment.
- Establish and maintain a productive, co-operative team environment where customer service is paramount.
- Maintain inventory levels to satisfy customer requirements
- Proactively manage transport resources.
- Ensure all maintenance; legal and licensing requirements are fulfilled to facilitate operation of all on site vehicles.
To be successful in this position you will require:
- 3+ years experience as a store manager OR assistant store manager, preferably within the building industry,
- Strong people skills and communication/negotiation skills,
- Highly developed understanding of sales tools, methodologies and business processes,
- A professional, energetic and enthusiastic approach,
- Familiarity/understanding of construction industry,
- Demonstrated ability to handle competing deadlines,
- Ability to develop effective working relationships with all people, and to lead and influence people.
