STONE is a Melbourne based manufacturer of high quality architectural pre-cast concrete products. We are a privately owned company that has been trading for more than 20 years.
This is a rewarding position with room to develop your skills in all aspects of the manufacturing business. The successful candidate will be trained in various roles with opportunities to develop in their preferred area or to a leadership role .
Job tasks and responsibilities
Being a part of the production of STONE concrete products. This is a busy and often physical role suited to someone who doesn't mind getting their hands dirty. You will need to :

- Literate - some paperwork is involoved

- Learn to operate machinery in all areas of the plant
- Have forklift driving experience
- Have strong practical skills (mixing, measuring, cleaning)
Skills and experience
This position would suit a fit self-starter who would come with manufacturing or general labouring experience. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and quality. This job involves heavy lifting and there are some manual tasks where you may get dirty and/or wet.
The successful candidate will receive full training in all aspects of production. They must be prepared to be flexible - willing to learn and take part in all functions of the manufacturing process.
The role will start with a 12 week trial working a 38 hour week on a casual rate. At the end of a successful 12 weeks candidate may be offered a full time permanent role.
