We are looking for an experienced supply chain professional to join Edgewell Personal Care – a leading global FMCG Organisation (Our brands: Schick, Banana Boat, Wet Ones...just to name a few!)

You want to own your career and you’re ready to write the next chapter of your career story: a challenging and rewarding role as Edgewell’s Supply Planner.  This position will be responsible to evaluate and amend supply recommendations ex affiliate suppliers having aligned the recommendations to achieving the ANZ sales forecast and agreed inventory targets.

Let’s Get Down to Business

Here’s a sample of the type of things you will be responsible for:

• Analyze market demand trends and monitor the inventory level according to the change of sales trends.
• Recommends order quantities and places purchase orders on non-affiliate suppliers in accordance with ANZ sales forecast and achieving inventory targets.
• Expedites and de-expedites supplier purchase orders to ensure optimal mix and level of inventory in ANZ. Maintains PO due dates, PO status and quantities to provide up to date system visibility to user departments.
• Maintain system data integrity to ensure data accuracy.
• Maintains supplier Lead-times and Time Fences in line with company objectives.
• Maintains open shipment report, working with the freight forwarder and customs broker to ensure timely delivery of inbound international supply for Australia market.
• Participates in pre- S & OP reviews, executes any recommendations from the meeting.
• Attends regular teleconferences with all suppliers to track progress of orders, expedite or de-expedite orders.
• Proactively recommends alternate solutions to bridge supply identified gaps. Review Airfreight quotations and obtain approvals as required.
• Coordinates receiving of imports commercial documents.
• Prepares periodic rolling forecast for affiliates as required.
• Prepares, publishes information and holds Weekly Operations Review Meeting
• Responsible for personally adhering to all Edgewell Personal Care Policies and Procedures and / or notifying direct manager / supervisor if a breach is witnessed.
• Supports customer service and continuous improvement initiatives through application of Edgewell Personal Care Excellence philosophies.

Ideally you will have supply chain experience gained within in an APAC/global FMCG business. In this role, it is important that you can work assertively, flexibly and collaboratively with individuals and teams located externally. Professional experience is important, but it’s paramount you share our values and belief in ‘challenge to win’.

Here are some of the requirements we are looking for:

• University degree or equivalent in Supply Chain, Operations Management, or related subject
• APICS or similar planning qualifications is highly preferred
• High level of collaboration, excellent interpersonal skills and ability to influence across all functional groups
• Can demonstrate experience in using sophisticated planning tools and ERP based purchase order systems
• Understanding of Australian and APAC manufacturing based supply chains
• Proactive and decisive with a high degree of analytical thinking
• Attentive to details
• Clear communication, comfortable dealing with all levels of an organization
• Collaborating in a multi-team environment
• Customer focused and “can do” attitude
