Manager Sydney Maintenance

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Manager to join a newly created team at Holsworthy supporting the most advanced tactical troop transport helicopter of the 21st Century: the Multi-role Helicopter (MRH90).
The Manager Sydney Maintenance will be responsible for overall coordination and management of the aircraft maintenance teams in the conduct of operational maintenance on the MRH90 aircraft within the Airbus DASR Part 145 organisation whilst meeting the required performance levels as outlined within the support contract.
About the role
As a Maintenance Manager you can anticipate some of your day-to-day activities to include:
- Ensuring that all assigned aircraft and aeronautical product maintenance activity is conducted effectively and efficiently
- Compiling serviceability / maintenance data in support of Holsworthy Maintenance Team activities
- Ensuring that the maintenance actions taken satisfy the maintenance task requirements
- Undertaking duties within the terms of the MRH RM delegation as authorised.
- Drafting technical investigations and reports
About you
The skills and experience best suited to this role include:
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills
- Knowledge and use of the maintenance regulations detailed in Defence Aviation Safety Regulations (DASR)
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and experience with, working in a military operations maintenance environment
- MRH90 application type training and system knowledge will be well regarded
- Knowledge of, and experience with ADF aircraft and or aeronautical product
