Veolia is seeking a Fleet Allocator who will report to the Transport Manager to join our dynamic and friendly Arndell Park site.
The successful applicant will allocate Sydney West logistics collection schedules to vehicles to ensure the efficient completion of jobs in accordance with safety and environmental standards, customer expectations and performance targets and coordinate driver operations by providing logistical and technical support to ensure route optimization.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- Demonstrated industry experience in transport, logistics or supply chain operations
- A very strong focus on safety and knowledge of NSW's Chain of Responsibility.
- Proficiency with SAP or similar logistics software essential
- High level interpersonal skills, including the ability to clarify, resolve issues, mediate conflict, time manage and make decisions within a high volume deadline driven environment
- Strong customer service focus and ability to build effective relationships
- Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills
- knowledge of the Sydney Metropolitan area is desirable
- Fatigue Management qualifications are desirable
