Our client is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated Production Manager with prior experience working in a manufacturing environment to manage a team, scheduling production and driving their performance in work practices, policies and processes improving quality and profitability.

Your daily responsibilities:

• Effective leadership, development and motivating a team of 10,
• Provide operational execution and planning to ensure the absolute best service and absolute best quality to customers whilst holding down costs.
• Customer service,
• Cost control - ensuring minimal waste and managing overtime,
• Supervise, plan and schedule assembly / production ensuring customer needs are met,
• Review orders, plant capacity, and inventory,
• Forecast production requirements and calculate costs,
• Manage floor safety, potential hazards,
• Test, monitor and evaluate new mechanical equipment,
• Establish and implement a quality culture within the manufacturing environment,
• Develop and implement quality assurance standards, processes, and controls,
• Develop methods for inspection, testing, and training
• Process improvement and productivity improvements.

Do you have:

• Strong analytical & decision making ability?
• Proven experience in OH&S standards and procedures?
• Strong leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate & develop others?
• Strong computer skills for reporting, scheduling and email communication?
• Flexibility and eagerness to learn?
• A willingness to assist others where and when required?

Factory hours are Monday to Thursday 8am to 4pm and Friday 7am to 3.30pm. Flexibility will be required at the start and end of the day.
