Educating Kids is a furniture and resource supplier for the Early Childhood industry. We have an exciting new role for a Warehouse Co-Ordinator. We are looking for a positive motivated individual with enthusiasm for customer service, stock management and freight cost control.

The Warehouse Co-Ordinator is responsible for the effective and timely pick, pack and despatch of orders and the effective receipt, movement & accuracy of inventory within the Educating Kids warehouse. This includes driving the continuous improvement program across all areas of responsibility.
You must have the physical ability for heavy lifting and moving stock, be an accurate stock taker, pick and packing experience and have a current forklift licence.
The functions of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Receiving incoming inventory
- Picking packing orders
- Preparing daily freight manifest
- Liaising with couriers and shippers for dispatching orders
- Maintaining stock in company's warehouse locations
- Unloading of containers
- Maintaining warehouses in clean and orderly manner
- Complying with all OH&S policies
- Inventory stock takes
- Assemble products for new show room and large customer orders
- Other duties as required.
Key Skills
- Warehousing experience in a retail, e-commerce or wholesale environment
- Warehousing experience in a WMS controlled environment
- Intermediate level (minimum) competency with standard Microsoft operating Environment (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Ability to operate in “start-up”/ fast growth environments, with high levels of change delivered fast
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and support change
- Well-developed problem solving skills
- Ability to organise daily workloads for team members
- Strong attention to detail
Key Success Measures:
- Fulfillment outcomes including DIFOT
- Inventory accuracy
- Effective communication with internal stakeholders
- Working effectively as a leader in the Educating Kids warehouse team
- Workplace safety contribution
Previous warehousing experience is essential, as well as a current Forklift and Driver's license. The position also requires you to possess reasonable computer skills, and be able to work unsupervised, be self motivated, while able to work within a team environment.
