HC Truck Driver | Tottenham
About the Role:
We are currently seeking HC truck drivers to join our company in Tottenahm, VIC as a subcontractor. You will be working Monday to Friday approximately 10 - 12 hrs per day with early morning starts at roughly 5AM. You will be doing container deliveries via sideloader and trailers.
Role requirements:
- Must have Current and unrestricted HC License
- Must have experience with operating sideloaders (HAMMAR) and trailers
- Must have experience with chaining loads
- Minimum 2 years, on the road driving experience
- Owns an operational HC Truck
- Must have access to terminals and wharfs via MSIC Card
- Reach Stacker licence preferred but not required
- Reliable and flexible for on call/casual shifts
- Available to commence employment immediately
Ideal skills from candidate:
- Strong knowledge of truck operations and an excellent driving history
- Efficient pick up and delivery from depot, wharf, yard and client premises
- Understanding of port operations and procedures
- Ability to operate equipment safely at all times in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Good Presentation and Customer Service skills
- Completing company documentation such as delivery dockets and runsheets
- Excellent geographical knowledge of Metropolitan Melbourne
