Successful leading transport and logistics company seeking experienced AM & PM Dockhands for the Cavan depot.
Hours:
AM Shift: 6.00am - 10.00am (plus overtime) - 5 days a week
PM Shift: 2:30pm - 6:30pm (plus overtime) - minimum 3 a week
Saturday: 6:00am to 12:00pm
*employed casually however positions are ongoing
The role:
As a Dockhand your main responsibility will be to load & unload trucks, trailers, conveyors and docks with all types of freight in a safe and efficient manner. However from time to time you will be required to provide support to all departments within the company, with a focus on warehousing, deliveries and dock work.
The position will include duties such as but will not be limited to:
- Loading and unloading of all company fleet/vehicles
- Receiving and despatching goods
- Gating and strapping company fleet/vehicles
- Manual handling
- General warehouse work
- Consignment note management
In order to be successful in this role you must possess the following skills, attributes and qualifications:
- Stable work history
- Forklift license (Desirable)
- Car License (Desirable)
- Provide/Prepared to undergo pre-employment Medical testing
- Exceptional Work Ethic
- Flexible and able to adapt to constant change
- Reliability
