Marand is a fast growing, technology rich, Australian privately owned company supplying innovative high tech turnkey manufacturing systems to the Rail, Defence, Aerospace and Automotive industries.
Due to our continued growth we are seeking to appoint a logistics store person to our Geelong Manufacturing division.
Located at our Geelong site this role will be responsible for the following:
- Managing the end to end process of materials and parts delivery and dispatch.
- Receipt of incoming goods.
- Storage of parts and consumables.
- Delivery of materials on-time to the manufacturing line.
- Maintaining stock control within the store..
- Replenishment, re-ordering, part protection and part tracking within the computer system.
- Overhead crane experience and or dogging/rigging experience with a high risk license are an advantage but not mandatory.
- General and administrative duties such as 5S (cleaning, etc), labelling, printing forms and other light duties as required.
The ideal candidate will have high attention to detail, the ability to work well under pressure and adapt to change, the ability to follow standardised work without deviation and to stop, call, wait when issues arise and will have good communication skills.
Stores experience within an engineering/manufacturing environment, experience using an ERP and a forklift license would also be an advantage but not mandatory. A basic level of computer skill will be required.
