About the role:
S&A Stairs are an established Australian stair building business located in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia.
Our Victorian branch are seeking a Machine Shop Labourer / Forklift Driver. As a Machine Shop Labourer / Forklift Driver, you will be undertaking and assisting in various tasks within the factory, to enable the manufacturing of high quality staircases.
The candidate must be conscientious, reliable and able to work with minimal supervision. Have an eye for accuracy and quality to ensure all tasks are performed at the highest level.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for -
- Perform general duties around the factory as required by the Machine Shop Supervisor
- Forklift duties as required around the factory
- Assist Installers as required
- Assist with tasks on the benches
- Drive various commercial vehicles/provide support to sites
- Load commercial vehicles at the factory and unload same vehicle at various sites
- Care and maintenance of commercial vehicles
Skills & Experience:
- manual drivers licence (essential)
- forklift licence (preferred)
- light truck licence (preferred)
- building industry experience (preferred)
