Role

We’re looking for a self-motivated and confident Production Supervisor to join our Austral Masonry NSW Plant in Coffs Harbour. Reporting to the Plant Manager, you will be responsible for the supervision andrunning of the Coffs Harbour manufacturing facility.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Ensure compliance to work, heath, safety and environment systems;
• Supervise and lead a team including factory and maintenance staff;
• Operation of block machines;
• Completing QC requirements to ensure compliance of product;
• Ordering materials and ensuring adequate materials are available for production;
• Fault finding of issues and liaising with maintenance staff;
• Mould changes as required;
• Understanding the operation of all plant and machinery in the manufacturing facility;
• Production based paperwork as required; and
• Assisting the Plant Manager with the daily running of the Production facility.

Success Requirements
• Experience in similar role operating Columbia manufacturing machines (desired).
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing team.
• Experience in operating manufacturing machines.
• Valid LF forklift licence.
• Front end loader ticket.
• Australian Drivers Licence.
• Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
• High regard for workplace health and safety.
• Excellent communication skills.
