Purchasing expeditor for busy team based SoR - Oracle is essential - long term job
Experienced Buyer / Expeditor required for an immediate start.
Working in a busy, friendly, team just SoR your primary responsibility will be to ensure planned maintenance have sufficient materials for scheduled jobs.
The job tasks involve expediting overdue purchase orders, negotiating delivery terms, placing RFQs and updating promise dates. As a confident PC user you will have fast and accurate skills in Oracle and Excel.
This role involves operational expediting of hundreds of items per week so we are looking for someone from that type of background, NOT someone who has expedited large, high value items for projects.
Although working as part of a team this is an autonomous role and requires a strong work ethic and good influencing skills. A rate of $38ph - $39ph+super, on-site parking and the possibility for a long-term role is on offer.
