About the role
Join our Chullora team as a HR Delivery Driver for metro deliveries and regional line-haul work!
Our Transport team are now digital! Our Truck Drivers are allocated a mobile device to complete pre departure vehicle checks, view their jobs for the day with a map of where to go and it also reminds the drivers of when they are required to take a break as safety is important and we take care of our people.
As a Truck Driver for Australia Post, you will be responsible for:
- Driving trucks safely and efficiently in line with daily duty boards to pick up and deliver ULDs (unit load device – or the cage used to transport mail) between operational centres and customer premises
- Completing daily vehicle maintenance checks before you hit the road
What are we looking for?
- Safety focused drivers that hold a relevant state heavy rigid (HR) licence with a minimum of 12 months driving experience
- The ability to work on a rotating roster including day, afternoon and night shift.
- Experience driving manual vehicles
- An effective communicator with outstanding customer service skills
- A team player that is resilient, is accountable and understands the importance of chain of responsibility

- $$$ Great hourly rates + penalty rates + allowances
