Currently seeking an experienced Assembly Worker to work for a client of ours based in Bella Vista. You will report to the Assembly Line Leading Hand. The overall work and tasks required of this position include the assembly of small sheet metal sub-assembly components, electrical wiring, and preparation of insulation, brazing and final assembly of the unit.
The Working hours for this position are Monday - Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm and the day pay rate is $25.00p/hr. This role is offered as a casual position with the opportunity to become permanent offered to the right applicant after 6 months.
Key functions of the role include:
- Demonstrated experience in the use of hand tools
- Work in an assembly process line environment
- Work to deadlines
- Follow SOP and verbal instructions, work orders using job and part numbers
- Performs quality checks to ensure all work is to specification
- Assures quality of work by accurately completing check sheets
- Accurately tests finished goods
- Operates lifting equipment safely
- Assists in the risk assessment, continuous improvement in conjunction with the work team and supervisors
- Performs other tasks as directed
The successful applicant will have had a minimum of 2 years' experience, preferably in a manufacturing sheet metal/ maintenance environment. You would need to have previous experience in a fast paced environment.
