Your new role
The Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer is responsible for reviewing technical design packages within projects and generating a complete set of client and manufacturing documentation. Where required, the E&I Engineer will coordinate supply activities to ensure a compliant project design is fully tested, documented and delivered on time.
The E&I Engineer shall assist in ensuring the engineering design of projects’ is in accordance with relevant local standards, statutory requirements, technical specifications and industry best practice.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position you will ideally;
- A University Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- 5-8 years working experience in electrical and/or instrumentation environment with a Manufacturer, Contractor or Vendor.
- Understand basic electrical design and control philosophy principles
- Understand fieldbus and communication cable types
- Understand basic electrical load calculation formulas and component specification
- Understand various electrical component installation and wiring methods
- Proficient in AutoCAD and/or E-Plan
