Do you have experience loading trucks and enjoy working on Afternoon Shift? Are you looking for a new challenge? If so, our client wants you to join their friendly Afternoon Shift Despatch team. They are a leader in providing solutions to commercial and residential needs as a premier supplier of high performance glass and glazing solutions.
Your hourly rate is dependent upon experience but you can expect between $23 - $25 p/hr + shift allowance.
Key Duties include (but not limited to):-
• Glass Handling
• Focus on Quality & Safety
• Scanning items onto truck
• Correct loading for weight dispursement
• Working in a manufacturing environment
• General work area cleaning duties
• Some heavy lifting may be required
Skills & Experience:-
• Previous truck loading experience
• Glass Handling experience is highly regarded
• Current Forklift License is an advantage (but not necessary)
• Basic computer literacy skills
• Ability to follow load sequences as required
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• A very strong safety focus
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be physically fit due to manual handling requirements
• Able to provide a current resume with two recent contactable work references from a similar role
• Able to pass a medical (including drug and alcohol testing)
• Capable of performing sometimes heavy, repetitious manual tasks
