Reporting to the Plant Manager and working collaboratively with operations and  and site leadership team, you will lead the efficient and safe manufacture of our high quality market leading products through the application of lean manufacturing processes, and servant leadership while driving a ‘zero loss’ mindset.  Additionally you will have a strong focus on building capability and empowering teams to deliver best in class across Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost Sustainability and Morale (SQDCSM).

In this role your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

- Utilising  lean manufacturing / TMP tools and process controls to embed the mindset and capability of the operations team towards Zero loss

- Lead by example through coaching business safety initiatives with accountability for operational safety and environmental compliance within teams

- Managing  your own budget, and the build and execution of productivity plans to budget

- Leading  and coaching the operations team to deliver the Site  autonomous maintenance strategy

- Identification of opportunities to support reduction in waste, water and energy usage

- Achievement of all conversion KPIs on line efficiency, yield, rework, line manning and production volume.

- Ensure Good Manufacturing Process (GMP), delivery and ownership of QPs, HACCP, and PCP standards and procedures are met.

To set you up for success you will be degree qualified, have significant experience in lean manufacturing principles, and the supervision / leadership of teams.  You will have a technical knowledge of SAP CMMs and an understanding of RCM & FMECA principles and technologies.  Additionally you will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong process management skills, and the ability to set priorities for yourself and your team.
