Stock replenishment and Shipping Officer

Aaxis Pacific is a significant part of the Aaxis Group of Companies that established in 1988. We are internationally recognized  as a provider of high quality healthcare products. 

An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Purchasing department for Stock replenishment and Shipping position. You will be responsible for inventory stock replenishing, follow up with supplier and arranging the import shipments from overseas, making sure the product compliant with regulatory requirements, managing international and domestic freight forwarders.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Review and replenish inventory stock for a wide range of commodity items
  • Follow up with suppliers for delivery schedule  and monitoring back orders 
  • Expediting overdue deliveries 
  • Resolution of purchasing queries online
  • Liaison with suppliers, warehouse, sales and other internal requirements
  • Ensure stock replenishing activities are followed in accordance with established procedures and compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Review goods and services and pricing on an ongoing basis to ensure consistency and value are maintained
  • Ensure all purchase orders have sufficient information and correct job code costing.
  • Review and update delivery status
  • Monitoring and updating procurement policies and procedures

To be successful for this position, you will demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in purchasing role;
  • Self-motivated, task focused and excellent problem solving skills.
  • Able to work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, along with strong negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures; and
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work;
