Our client is a full service provider, well, established International Freight Forwarder with an excellent reputation in the marketplace. A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Cartage Coordinator to join their Brisbane team.
Ideally, you will have at least two years experience working within the International Logistics industry specifically in a Cartage Coordination capacity and possess an in-depth knowledge of both Air & Sea Cargo movements.
Daily duties will include:
- Monitoring Customs Releases
- Preparation of Cartage documentation
- General customer Service
- Direct communication with customers & transport service providers
- Assist with registrations
- Arranging deliveries with sub-contractors
- Meeting set deadlines
To be successful you will possess the following skills and attributes:
- At least 2 - 3 years experience within the Australian forwarding industry
- Possess an in depth knowledge of both Air and Sea Cargo movements, FCL, LCL & Airfreight
- Be organized & motivated
- Excellent communication skills both written & verbal
- EDI Cargowise experience ideal
- Strong work ethic
- High attention to detail
- Troubleshooting / Problem solving skills
- Good geographical knowledge of the South East Queensland region
