Duties / Responsibilities
Working in a high volume environment and adhering to strict regulations and protocols, you will be responsible for:
- Compilation and dispatch of orders appropriately in consultation with shipping and production managers
- Rotation of product inventory, minimisation of carton damage & quality control of cartons dispatched
- Management of labour cost, appropriate and approved manning levels and perpetual commitment to minimising overtime
- Effective leadership, supervision, training and counselling of employees
- Accurate completion of associated documentation such as HR, WHS and product data
- Unwavering commitment to the health, safety and wellbeing of all personnel
Candidate Profile
With demonstrated experience in a similar role, you will be confident in your ability to deliver to timelines and changing customer demands.
You will be able to commit to shift work and demonstrate proven tenure in warehousing, dispatch or Inventory control in the same discipline.
Additionally you will have:
- Proven experience in both:
- Supervisory Role for (minimum 3 years); and
- Warehousing/Distribution (minimum 5 years)
- Previous experience working in FMCG / meat
- Proven ability to learn and adhere to regulations
- Intermediate computer skills, including Excel
- Current Drivers Licence and Forklift (LF) Ticket
- Diploma in Warehousing or Logistics highly desirable
- First Aid Certificate is desirable
