The Company
CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is the world’s largest flight training network with academies in the UK, USA, India, Middle East and Australia. With 150 staff delivering training 7 days a week to over 400 domestic and international students utilising over 50 aircraft and simulators at Moorabbin and Tamworth airports, CAE Oxford Aviation Academy is Australia’s largest commercial Flight Training Organisation – and we are still growing.
We are currently seeking a Dispatcher to join our busy Operations Team in our Brand New Training Centre at Moorabbin Airport.
To be successful in this role you will need outstanding organisational skills, well developed communication and interpersonal skills as well as an excellent attention to detail and the ability to multi task and work under pressure.
If you have prior experience in an aviation or transport & logistics planning, scheduling or related operational environment it would be hugely advantageous. However, we would consider applicants from outside the industry who can demonstrate the key transferable skills essential for this role. Duties of this job include:
*ensuring flights are efficiently dispatched and that all company regulatory checks are performed
*Ensuring that all flight operation systems are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will have excellent customer service skills, the ability to plan and schedule, well-developed analytical skills and proven experience of working in a fast paced, highly regulatory environment would also be a benefit. This is a Monday to Friday role working two weeks rotating shifts of 0600-1400, 0830-1630 and 1300 to 2100.
