Our client requires the services of a Tool Store and Asset Hire Yard lead to lead the team based in Karratha.

The role is to provide all aspects of material control for managed materials moving to or from Client assets ensuring compliance with relevant and Client Policy and Procedure.

To perform Material Control activities including:

  • Input and maintenance of SmartPlant Materials (SPM) material control records,
  • Utilisation of Client SAP system,
  • Coordinate the collection of materials from vendor premises,
  • Coordinating the movement of materials to meet stakeholder requirements.
  • Liaise with vendors to expedite fast track purchase orders as required.
  • Track material movements and record events in SPM.
  • Liaise with procurement regarding outstanding purchase orders.

To be successful in this role it is imperative you have:

  • Experience in materials control in the oil and gas related industry (3 years at least)
  • Experience in material tracking systems.
  • Experience in managing conflicting work priorities and achieving deadlines.
  • Experience with an enterprise materials control or logistics software ideally SmartPlant Materials or SAP.
