We are seeking an Production Planner to join our production team. This is a challenging role in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

The Production Planner will  plan and schedule the production in the factory, allowing on-time delivery of products to customers.

Key Duties:

• Plan and schedule production from customer sales orders – Liaise with Sales
• Review stock plans and release production orders for stock replenishment
• Continuously monitor production and ensure jobs are tracking on schedule – Liaise with Production Supervisors
• Control and maintain production boards in the factory
• Flag and rectify jobs that are falling behind schedule
• Adapt production schedule and insert urgent jobs for completion
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and ensure supply meets demand – Liaise with Purchasing

Previous experience in a similar role or experience in a manufacturing environment would be highly regarded

Requirements:

• Excellent organisation skills and high sense of urgency
• Able to work to targets and meet deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills – both written and verbal
• Able to multi-task and prioritise their work effectively
• Good problem solving skills – able to think laterally
• Team Player and able to work independently
• Intermediate to Advanced level in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook
