Seamech is an Australian owned company servicing the marine, mining, power generation and agriculture industries. As a Center for Volvo Penta, together with our experienced dealer network we provide spare parts, engines, service and support to marine and industrial customers throughout Queensland and Papua New Guinea.

An opportunity exists for an Experienced Warehouse Store Person to join the team at our Brisbane warehouse located in Murarrie.

Reporting to the Parts Manager, this busy role requires you to work as part of a small team, with the ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and communication skills as you will be responsible for assisting our dealer network in the sourcing and distributing of required parts.

To succeed in this position you will need to have the ability to:

• Identify, source and dispatch parts with a high level of accuracy.
• Ensure timely supply of parts throughout the order and dispatch process.
• Prepare invoices and other sales related documentation.
• Participate in stocktaking activities as required.
• Manage the return stock process in accordance with company guidelines.
• Perform general warehousing duties.
• Communicate effectively in both written and verbal from across all levels of the business as well as with third parties of the business.

Must haves:

• Experience in general warehousing.
• A forklift and current driver’s license.
• Physically fit.
• Good computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Great people skills.
• The ability to work well in a team environment and also unsupervised.
• A positive attitude.
• Excellent numerical skills.
• Industry exposure highly regarded.
