The Opportunity- HSE Supervisor
Our client is a market leader within their sector and believe their people are the centre to their success within the industry. They now have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Health Safety and Environment Supervisor to join their HSE Team. This role will be based in a blue-collar environment and will be responsible for managing the execution activities that the HSEC function is accountable for.
Reporting to the HSE Lead, this role will also be responsible for supporting the deployment of improvement initiatives defined by the improvement sub-function.
Key Accountabilities include:
• Provide input to HSEC plan objectives and budget
• Endorse, deliver and execution improvement initiatives in collaboration with HSE improvement
• Undertakes the process of HSEC sampling and data collection
• Lead the execution of the HSEC owned data assurance program
• Assists in the delivery of resolving work execution issues
About You
The ideal candidate will have a good work ethic with motivation to work in challenging environments. This role is suited to an individual whom possesses a drive to exceed expectations and to constantly push for results. In addition to these attributes, you will have:
• Bachelor Degree in Health Science, Health and Safety or equivalent
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in heavy industry
• Extensive knowledge of key concepts, theories and practises relating to effective control of HSEC related tasks
• Proven ability to positively interact and communicate with multiple operational areas
• Demonstrated experience in executing technical HSEC related work activities, including, significant change management
