The Role:
• Undertaking administrative, and non-technical support to Trades people
• Performing work order management and data entry tasks within the Commonwealth Mandated Information System
• Compiling material inventory records and prepare requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies
• Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives
• Using Commonwealth managed systems to complete tasks such as cargo visibility, managing, tracking and accelerate requisition of parts
• Assisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
• Conducting office administration and aiding with customer accounts
• Sort and distribute work tickets/ materials to workers
• Conduct stocktake duties, check that goods are received and sort them onto shelving
• Regularly label/ price goods, check stock levels and order new stock if required
• Operate plant and equipment as required
• Utilise computerised systems to order goods, check inventory/ invoices
The Candidate:
• Possess a Forklift Licence
• Experience with stocktaking and store operations
• Good computer skills and proficient with Microsoft Office
• Experience with Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems, Procurement or stock ordering systems
• Good communication skills
• Candidates with MILIS (Military Integrated Logistics Information System) would have an advantage
