About the role

The Service Coordinator will deliver exceptional customer service by coordinating and developing customer estimates, and liaising with internal departments to ensure timely completion, and delivery of service work.  The position requires sound mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret service job requirements provided by Service Team Members.  

Job tasks and responsibilities

  • Responsible for preparing estimates, liaising with customers to provide full details of the repair work required and obtain approval prior to the work being carried out.
  • Interpretation of scope of work requirements from Service team members and translating them into customer estimates.
  • Day to day coordination of all service job requirements 
  • Work with the Service Team Members on all Service Jobs to ensure accurate close our works for customers. 
  • Responsible for providing technical information to the Service Department Workshop Supervisor along with any parts queries as required.
  • Assist the Service Manager with excel reporting requirements.
  • Any other duties as required including taking part in any training as required
  • Participate in and comply with the Company's safety first culture.

Skills and experience

The successful candidate must have experience within a similar role with a strong mechanical aptitude, ideally in a manufacturing or mechanical environment. The successful candidate will also have the ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with customers, both internally and externally; good problem solving and communication skills; ability to prioritise deadlines; and strong computer literacy.
