The opportunity?

As part of Toll Group’s new growth strategy, we are seeking a seasoned Continuous Improvement (CI) Manager who will partner with our major customers. You will be responsible for the identification, development and deployment of customer focussed improvement initiatives across the end-to-end value chain. You will be providing leadership, planning and management capability for the systematic, process and data driven resolution customer related CI opportunities and escalated service issues.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Lead and deliver customer specific CI Program(s) and Project(s)
  • Building positive working relationships with Toll Operational, Finance & IT senior management and delivery teams
  • Leading the facilitation of Customer CI related workshops and meetings with key customer and business stakeholders driving collaboration across the business to ensure the best outcome for the Customer and for Toll
  • Developing project related collateral including project briefs, presentations, complex data analysis, benefits trackers, fishbone diagrams, process maps, value stream maps, SOPs etc.
  • Measurement and delivery of projected benefits to both the Customer and Toll
  • Coach and mentor Sales and Operational personnel in the delivery of Customer CI initiatives

The ideal candidate?

Tertiary qualified, with formal qualifications in Lean or Six Sigma, you are a senior level project management professional with a successful track record in managing a broad array of business transformation or continuous improvement programs. Experience within large and complex organisations ideally across manufacturing, supply chain, procurement or FMCG you will be comfortable working with ambiguity and have the ability to operate within an ever-changing landscape. Your outstanding communication and interpersonal skills allow you to engage stakeholders from the shop floor through to the senior leadership team. Your resilience and ability not to lose sight of the end goal will set you apart from your peers.
