Volvo Group Australia currently has a new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Quality Specialist to join our award winning Aftersales team.  You will play a vital role in supporting the product quality for Volvo Group brands within Australia and nominated Export markets, while ensuring the brand image and reputation is upheld at all times. This is a fantastic role that calls for strong communication skills and attention to detail.

About the Role

  • Responsible for management and resolution of assigned Market and Dealer Quality reports
  • Liaison with Engineering and Production teams on assigned technical issues
  • Assist with management of Help Desk on a rotational basis
  • Assist with preparation and presentation of periodic Quality Run Through’s (QRT’s)
  • Ensure that quality defects accepted within the Argus reporting system are reported and promptly actioned through the Market Quality Reporting  (MQR) process
  • Process scope is from generation of Argus case by dealer to MQR closure
  • Provide technical support to the Dealer/Importer network and field personnel
  • Accept quality defect cases logged by dealers within Argus
  • Assist with technical investigations where appropriate

 
About you:  

  • Strong experience within the heavy vehicle technical sector
  • Trade certificate in the automotive industry and/or Technical and mechanical knowledge of vehicles (essential) and heavy vehicle knowledge and understanding.  Auto Electrical experience would be desirable however it is not essential.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills at all levels
  • Great interpersonal skills with proven ability to maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Advanced analytical and evaluation skills
  • Customer orientated mind set and strong business/commercial acumen
  • Strong problem solving and resolution skills
