About Toll Helicopters:
Toll Helicopters (see www.tollgroup.com/tollhelicopters and www.tollgroup.com/acetrainingcentre), part of the Toll Group, operates on a global scale and are looking for an experienced Aviation Safety coordinator to join the NSW and ACT operation.

This is an exciting era for Toll Helicopters, with a 10 year (+5 year) contract providing safe, reliable, mission-critical aeromedical services to NSW and the ACT.

The role: Reporting to the Safety and Quality Manager, this position is responsible for assisting in the management of the Aviation Safety Management System and Work Health and Safety responsibilities to meet the needs of the Toll Helicopters Operator, Maintenance Organisation, CASA (Civil Aviation Safety Authority) other regulators and our customers.

The Ideal Candidate will have;

  • Workplace Health and Safety (minimum Cert IV).
  • 5 years aviation experience;
  • ICAM Lead Investigator, or equivalent;
  • Safety and Quality Lead Auditor;

Highly Desirable;

  • Safety Management System Course, or equivalent;
  • Emergency Management experience;
  • Bulk fuel systems knowledge;
  • Helicopter EMS experience;
  • Knowledge and understanding of the Civil Aviation Regulations and/or;
  • Relevant Human Factors understanding.

About you: You will thrive on challenges and have a demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise tasks with minimum supervision. You’re your approach to safety and quality will contribute to the availability of the Aeromedical fleet capabilities.
