The Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will provide support and expertise to the management team and get the opportunity to work with a renowned global organisation.

Ferrero Australia, based in Lithgow NSW, has been manufacturing well-known brands such as Nutella and Tic Tac in Australia for over 40 years. They employ over 300 people across ANZ and are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all its workers.
This newly created role is an exciting opportunity for someone to take control of all health, safety and environmental systems across the site and ensure compliance to corporate standards.
Description
The Health, Safety and Environment Advisor will provide support and expertise to the management team to protect the health and safety of people and ensure compliance to regulatory and company safety requirements and systems.
You will also have responsibility for:
• Continuous improvement of systems
• Ensuring business objectives are delivered efficiently and safely
• Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective action
• You will provide specialist advice, assistance and coaching to the staff to allow them to achieve their safety responsibilities
• Maintenance of HSE records on SAP
• Ensure costs are in line with the HSE Budget
• Monitor environmental aspects including energy consumption
Profile
To be successful you will ideally have:
• Tertiary Qualifications in OHS or a related field
• Strong system management knowledge
• Relevant experience from a manufacturing environment, ideally FMCG
• Strong experience with managing the return to work process
• Excellent communication, report writing and IT skills (ideally SAP)
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills
