The role
Reporting to Head of Optimisation – Supply Chain this role is a key in leading a team of Analysts developing solutions for DC Systems and process.
To be successful, you’ll have:
- experience in providing development and support direction for Distribution systems
- ability to lead teams and manage team effectively to achieve team targets and KPI’s
- strong working understanding in the operation of DC Systems and its application within Logistics
- solid understanding of upstream retail supply chain systems and processes
- high level attention to detail with the ability to work autonomously in a high pressure environment
- detailed understanding of distribution processes and system and their application to support supply chain
- fluent in the use of Office Applications (Outlook / Excel / Word)
- tertiary qualification in IT related areas or demonstrable equivalent experience
- ability to extract data via the use of SQL Developer
- Project Management qualifications, fluent in the use of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- managing Senior Logistics Analysts within team to develop skills and complete assigned tasks
- liaise with operational, internal and external teams in the identification and business benefits relating to systemic or process related improvements
- manage and prioritise activities relating to CAPEX and Non-CAPEX development activities in line with Logistics Systems Strategy
