About the opportunity

A key role enabling strategic management of the customer inventory management system ensuring a high-quality customer experience, enhanced sales performance and supporting best practice planning and inventory management processes of bulk commodities.

 

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Forecast planning and contract/inventory management with key customers, including the implementation of storage and distribution strategies and plans, Proactively ensuring customer contracts are managed effectively to ensure required inventory stock levels, Managing stock inventory positions with customers to meet quality, cost and delivery requirements, Working with Customers either through the Customer Experience team or Regional managers directly to leverage/improve inventory positions and performance, Supporting the Regional Sales Managers with contract management and requirements for stock, Consignment stock management

 


To secure this position you must:
Be degree qualified with a relevant qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain or Business Management / Administration, Knowledge of inventory management, shipping, planning and procurement processes, Have experience working in a supply chain environment in planning and inventory management, Experience in an import or bulk commodity environment will be an advantage, Effective negotiation and stakeholder relationship management skills, Ability to work autonomously, Knowledge of quality improvement principles, Excellent oral communication, interpersonal skills and presentation skills, Capable to exercise initiative, innovate processes and ways of working
