A busy manufacturing company is seeking a motivated and focused Customer Service Supervisor to become part of our large and growing business

 

The ideal candidate will have high levels of communication, and have a genuine desire to assist customers and meet their expectations.

Responsibilities will include:

Team management - high levels of communication (quality and frequency) and motivation to ensure the high performance of the team. Review and maintain effective HR systems within the team, review and ensure compliance with internal controls for streamlined functioning

Customer service - answering telephone inquires, build strong relationships with customers

Administration - timely and accurate processing of customer orders and enquiries, completing paperwork for manufacturing, invoicing customer orders, manage reworks and spare parts, assist dispatch with finalised orders, provide general administrative and clerical support

Reporting – collating sales figures for Management on a daily basis

Production – ensure the links in the internal supply chain function smoothly

Technical support – be able to impart technical knowledge to the team and make decisions based on product knowledge and available references

 

We are seeking a highly professional individual who has a background in customer service with an aptitude for understanding multi-level technical information. The right person must have a passion for assisting customers and anticipate how to meet their expectations.

A sound knowledge of computers and being able to adapt to variety of programs is a MUST. This includes the Microsoft Office suite of programs. The individual will demonstrate good time management, and have a high level of verbal and written communication skills. Attention to detail is a must, along with reliability and the ability to handle a busy work environment.

This is NOT a call-centre position.

Although not necessary, industry knowledge of blinds, shutters or security manufacturing would be an advantage. Full training will be provided to the successful applicant.

MUST have your own reliable transport (public transport if not available).  MUST be able to start within 7 days of appointment.

Normal work hours will be Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm
