For one of our clients located in Wallangarra, Drake International is currently looking for an experienced Production Clerk | Store Person.
As a Production Clerk | Store Person, you will report to the Scheduler and you will undertake administrative and non-technical support to Tradespersons. Besides, you will be responsible for task completion documentation, publication amendments and maintaining technical data. You will be conducting store tasks, which includes account management and stocktakes.
Responsibilities:
- Providing administrative, and non-technical support to Tradespersons and assisting with the administration of the Supply Customer Accounts
- General administrative tasks
- Assisting with the ordering and hastening of repair parts, compiling material inventory records
- Contributing to collaborative innovation by identifying continuous improvement initiatives
- Assisting with the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities
- Sort and distribute work tickets or material to workers
- Pick packing and enter data in computer
- Move heavy packages using forklift machinery
- Stocktake and advise supervisor on stock and re-ordering levels
- Managing tools and equipment within the Supply Customer Account/s on the Commonwealth Mandated Information System and on Asset Registers
- Operating plant and machinery as required to perform stores tasks
- Assist with maintenance record keeping and documentation
- Attend appropriate training and participate in monthly Toolbox Meetings
- Maintaining housekeeping of stores areas
- Assist the Site Supervisor with HSE Site Inspections
- Other tasks as required
Requirements:
- You have a forklift licence
- MILIS Access experience in highly desirable
- You have relevant experience
- Physically fit
- You are an Australian citizen
- You have a valid driver’s licence and reliable transport
