Since 1972 our group has been growing, packaging potatoes and onions for sale in major Australian supermarket chains and produce markers nationally. Also supplying our produce to the international market, we have recently undergone a significant and sustainable expansion for our business. The role:
Reporting to the Team Leader we are currently looking for experienced forklift operators to work within our production environment:
- safely ensuring product is transported to and from designated areas
- loading and unloading goods from trucks as required
- moving goods stacked on pallets around the site
- stacking empty pallets and ensuring all loads are secure
- performing pre-operational checks as required
- ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed within the required time frame
- assist with additional duties as required
- be able to follow Team Leader instructions
To be successful:
- current driver's licence
- current forklift licence
- experienced in fast paced environment
- be flexible with shift times, be able to respond to overtime when required
- attention to detail
- carry out repetitive tasks
- be hard working and highly reliable
- work safely and follow safe work practices at all times
- must be able to work well in a team environment
- have good communication skills
- ideally you will have worked in a similar environment
- Fresh produce experience
The base rate of this position is $22.17, there are penalties paid for overtime and weekend work.
We have ZERO tolerance to drugs and alcohol and you will be required to undergo a medical assessment prior to employment which includes drug and alcohol testing. Our Drug and Alcohol Policy includes random testing.
