About the business and the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new operation and positive work culture from day one! Responsible for the production scheduling process, this role is pivotal to delivering customer satisfaction daily. Working with customer service, production, transport and purchasing teams this position interacts and engages with people to facilitate and priorities production flow.
Job tasks and responsibilities:
- Scheduling activities to meet production targets
- Assisting with the management of inventory of master data in ERP
- Generate planning reports, identifying and managing potential shortfalls
- Adjust production schedule based on forecast sales and confirmed orders
- Investigation & analysis of exceptions in inventory, stock variances, job margins and inventory valuations
Skills and experience:
- SAP is preferred
- Supporting the production team & other stakeholders with timely & meaningful information
- Excellent time management and sense of urgency
- Working knowledge of MS office and ERP planning systems
