Our client is a high profile leader in its field that has enjoyed success and growth as a result of outstanding service quality and delivery over many years. They're committed to service and operational excellence and they currently need a strong operations professional to join their team.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will have day to day responsibility for the efficient and smooth delivery of services to customers located throughout Melbourne. This will include:
- Rostering and developing and updating routing schedules to ensure maximum efficiency;
- Managing service personnel, ensuring neat presentation, wellbeing and the completion of deliveries in accordance with guidelines;
- Responding to issues raised by service personnel;
- Managing customer issues and concerns;
- Monitor and ensure all jobs are completed each day;
- Assisting with training, briefings and debriefings;
- Conducting field audits;
- Supervising the loading and unloading of vehicles;
- Maintain effective records/database/reports;
- Ensure workplace safety;
- Administration and projects.
We're looking for a well organised, hands-on team leader who has worked in a busy, multi-faceted operations environment and has a constant eye on improving processes. A people-person who has the ability to build team-work and encourage people to work in a customer and quality focused way, you will be someone who likes detail and can work across multiple aspects of the business to ensure areas are working efficiently and to required standards. You'll approach your work in a calm and respectful way but be strong enough to decisively respond to any issues that might affect service delivery.
