Good job for senior/experienced person.  Some truck driving involved.

The following is an indication of day to day activities

Vehicle maintenance (minor)

• Check and maintain service records.
• Pick up spare parts to be held at the Depot, when requested.
• Clean and paint vehicles and premises where appropriate.
• Undertake/arrange for minor repairs to the premises and equipment as necessary.
• When vehicles come into the depot check that the necessary ropes, restraints, ramps, supports are present and in good working order.  Undertake minor repair or renewal as necessary.

Caravan pick up/delivery

• Pick up caravans from manufacturers and depot. 
• Help load and unload vehicles
• Tape down caravans as directed
• Local and short interstate deliveries may be required.

General

• Maintain fork lift truck in a good operational condition.  Limit operation of this to persons holding a FLT licence.
• Ensure that all paperwork is cleared from returning trucks and submitted to the office.
• Keep the work area neat, clean, tidy – for example, remove rubbish to the large bin; ensure tools are put away.
• Ensure that repair/servicing equipment at the depot is in good working order and that any periodic inspections have the necessary certification.  Organise ‘Tag & Test’ for all electrical equipment in the workshop and depot.
