We are an importer and distributor of electrical products, based in Dandenong South and we are currently seeking an experienced, reliable person with a current Forklift Licence and preferably an MR Truck Licence.
Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, the Storeperson will work towards supporting the Company's objective of customer service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be involved in a variety of warehouse functions including, but not limited to:
- Unloading and storing raw materials or finished product correctly
- Locating correct bin locations or storage areas in the warehouse
- Participating in stocktake and product cycle counts
- Picking and packing of orders
- Completing paperwork for receipt, picking and despatch of product
- Undertake cleaning and housekeeping activities as required
- Organise transport and stock transfers
- Preparation of manifests for transfer of goods
- Assist in the production area as required
- Management of container deliveries and pick-ups
- Relief delivery truck driver
Key Requirements
- Forklift Licence
- Preferably MR Truck Licence
- Warehousing experience
- Knowledge of Inventory Systems
- Experience in cycle count activities
- Experience in Inventory management
- Intermediate computer skills
