Fleet Scheduler - Cairns Based

Trinity Petroleum Services Pty Ltd is a locally operated company with two Wholesale Distribution branches and 17 Fuel & Convenience Retail outlets in North Queensland. We have a fleet of fuel tankers that operate from our Cairns and Townsville branches and we have a Fleet Scheduler position available for our Cairns Head Office.

Previous Scheduling experience is essential.

As a Fleet Scheduler you will be responsible for:

•Efficiently and cost effectively coordinating load plans and providing direction for all company owned and contracted vehicles both at a local level and long-haul basis. •Operating our fleet to Trinity Petroleum Standards, QLD Mass Management regulations and all government regulations.
•Managing all Drivers to ensure key operational demands, training and licensing obligations are met.
•Creating Load Planning documents.
•Coordinating maintenance programs in conjunction with the Operations Team.
•Performing accurate data input for delivery schedules.
•Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for all deliveries as required.
•Covering after hour call requirements.
•Maintaining high customer service standards in scheduling deliveries.

The Successful Applicant must have:

•Previous experience in a similar role
•Excellent time management skills
•Organisational and prioritising skills
•Outstanding communication across all levels •Demonstrated ability to manage a team
•A passion and commitment to succeed

•Knowledge of distributor operations
•A flexible attitude that will grow and change with the business
•Adequate knowledge of Microsoft Office products •Proven reliability, stamina and integrity
•Fuel industry experience preferred but not essential
