With our Global Head Office based here in Perth, WA, we offer support to our International counterparts and continue to grow rapidly, expanding through both new product categories and markets.
Reporting directly to the Purchasing Manager, we have a unique opportunity for an enthusiastic, high energy Purchasing and Shipping assistant with a genuine interest in surf lifestyle and fashion to join our team.
The Purchasing and Shipping Assistant is responsible for:
- Creation and maintenance of internal shipping schedules
- Create and Maintain purchase orders in SAP
- Daily liaison with supplier base
- Coordination of bulk production shipments in conjunction with our freight forwarder
- Regular reporting to key stakeholders on status of orders
- Processing and authorisation of supplier, freight and duty invoices
- Oversee direct shipments to Licensees and Distributors
- Providing support to the Purchasing Manager
Skills required:
- Excellent communication and negotiation
- Exceptional time management
- Strong administrative background
- Attention to detail
- SAP experience would be advantageous
- Knowledge of import documentation and regulations
- Previous experience in a similar role, will be an advantage
