The client
Our client is a successful mobile plant equipment manufacturer and supplier to the mining services industry. With revenue of approximately $50 million, this organisation, through rapid growth, now requires a General Manager to guide the team, improve operational efficiencies and help drive the company to further success.
The Role
The General Manager will be responsible for the leadership and management of existing resources, existing and new markets, financial performance and product development. Importantly, focus will be on the development of a culture that will differentiate the company in the market.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have significant and proven experience in the mining services and manufacturing industry at a management level. Your excellent technical and interpersonal skills in addition to process improvement capabilities will be essential, and you will have demonstrated successful operational leadership expertise and strong commercial acumen. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and International business exposure would be highly desirable.
