Successfully doing so, they have established a market of 20- 35yr old shoppers and base their customer experiences as next to none with a 3hr delivery service, access to over 700 brands, and a market leading shopping app.
The fulfilment centre is 19,000 square metres with over 1.3 million products distributed weekly across Australia + NZ. With over 200 people working across the fulfilment of customer orders on any given day this is a big logistical operations centre!
About the Role
- Team Leadership: Assisting in supervising team members KPI's, monitoring expectations of team members quality of work, updating safe work methods and systematic functions, retaining existing staff, gathering feedback with regards to changes being made, providing information about performance and productivity regularly and facilitating team meetings and toolbox talks.
- Leading Consol/ Buffer Duties: Pre-preparation for domestic and international containers and all delivered stock, preparing sufficient equipment is available before shifts, Updating information hourly into productivity monitoring and output controlling systems and tools, ensuring that housekeeping and maintenance of the Consol/ Buffer area of the warehouse are upheld and that all Consol/ Buffer staff are contributing, monitoring supply of consumable stock necessary for the Consol/ Buffer area to perform daily duties, requesting diminished consumable stock to be reordered in a timely manner, reporting any safety hazards or issues immediately to the Shift Supervisor.
- Communication Skills: Strong communication with both internal and external customers, keeping on top of time management, owning the meeting agenda to contribute to making positive, constructive changes to Consol/ Buffer, have a pro-active approach.
Have You Got What it Takes?
- Minimum 12 months experience experience leading any sort of team
- Minimum 6 months experience working within a warehouse environment
- Evidence of consistently achieving KPI’s, always maintaining the correct quality of work and always performing all tasks safely
- Individuality and creativity in your work ethic
- Natural drive to keep you and your team to achieve
- An understanding of obligations that operations leaders have to providing a safe, friendly and high performing work environment
- The ability to understand Consol/Buffer metrics to provide staffing recommendations
