Reporting directly to the Operations Manager for the site, you will be accountable for (but not limited to)
- Schedule fleet for daily deliveries and collection of assets – taking into consideration fleet optimisation, load configuration and route planning;
- Coordination of drivers and manage leave accordingly;
- Ensure all vehicles and drivers are fully utilized and runs created in efficient manner;
- Manage and oversee the pre start checks and maintenance schedules;
- Compliance with Main Roads and road traffic legislation;
- Support day to day transport enquiries;
- Management of Fleet;
- Responsible for invoicing transports costs;
- Maintain and ensure strong customer service to all internal and external clientele;
- General administrative tasks and duties to support the role;
- Provide reports to assist in business reviews;
- Liaising with internal departments and external clients as well as drivers on a daily basis;
- Obtaining site access for truck drivers as required.
Minimum Requirements
- Min 2 years previous transport scheduler/fleet controller;
- Experience with Insphire , Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel;
- Sound knowledge of WA Regional and Perth metro area;
- Previous experience working with trucks and truck drivers is essential;
- Flexible working hours;
