About the Role
We currently have an excellent opportunity for a Parts Interpreter to join our Caboolture based parts team. Reporting to the Parts Leading Hand, this position requires a self-driven individual, with extensive parts sales experience and a passion for customer service.
  
The primary function of this role is to ensure all orders are processed promptly and accurately, to maximise the level of customer service provided to our customers.

In this primary role, your key responsibilities will include:

• Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service, through face-to-face and over the phone contact
• Develop customer loyalty to the Caterpillar brand through surpassing customer expectations
• Complete clerical and warehousing duties as required
• Submit competitive parts reports and pricing queries to Caterpillar of Australia
• Analyse each order to determine the fastest and most cost effective transport method to be used
• Receipt cash, cheque, and credit card payments for parts, and accurately record them on the cash sales summary
• Diligently perform emergency back orders and assigned tasks
• Assist with the reconciliation of cash sale account entries

About You
You will bring the following skills and experience to the role:

• At least 2 years’ experience within a similar customer service parts interpreter role
• Previous warehouse experience
• Thorough knowledge of Caterpillar and associated products, parts and services
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Intermediate computer skills, preferably with experience using Caterpillar Parts Systems
• Proven self-motivation skills with the ability to gain an understanding of the business systems that we operate
• High level of attention to detail
• Well-developed verbal and written communication skills
